HOMOZYGOUS
Homozygous is a short form narrative film that follows Simon, an intern for a media company, discover a tech company's dating service that claims to generate matches with data, machine learning and preferences. Their inhumane secret: they match with genetics, to breed the perfect generation, and ending inferior bloodlines. He aims to expose their wrongdoings. In a world of inescapable media, exposing them can't be that hard... Right?

Producing Homozygous was a huge task. Inspired by Black Mirror, it shows the dangers of technology. It went through 9 drafts of the screenplay, 6 days on set, and possibly longer in a timeline. The outcome isn't just a warning, it's a form of entertainment, through conspiracy, science fiction and espionage.

"My intentions are to entertain, but it does serve as a warning about where we could be going with technology – who really reads the terms and conditions epic for social media? It could be hiding anything. Will you accept cookies?"

"The film continued to transform as production progressed. My ambition was to constantly bu tension through the camera"
